Corelation Credit Unions See Stronger Member Engagement with Bankjoy Digital Banking
CommunityWide FCU sees up to 91.8% digital banking retention among JoyCompass users, as Bankjoy’s KeyStone client base continues to grow
DETROIT, Mich., October 20, 2026 -- Bankjoy, a leading provider of digital banking solutions for community financial institutions, today announced continued client renewals and measurable improvements in digital banking engagement among credit unions using Corelation's KeyStone core and Bankjoy's digital banking platform.
Bankjoy is delivering measurable results for credit unions using KeyStone through its JoyCompass financial wellness platform and FraudSense real-time fraud prevention solution. CommunityWide Federal Credit Union, a KeyStone credit union based in South Bend, Ind., used JoyCompass and Plaid to transform its app from a loan servicing portal into a more comprehensive financial hub for members who joined through indirect lending. Members have linked more than 18,000 external accounts, and the credit union has found a positive relationship between JoyCompass usage and member retention. After three months, 91.8% of members who created a budget and 86.6% who set a savings goal remained active in digital banking, compared with 66.4% of members who did not use Spending Analysis.
“Credit unions need more than a digital banking platform that works with their core. They need a technology partner that helps them strengthen member relationships and deliver meaningful results,” said Michael Duncan, CEO of Bankjoy. “Our longstanding partnership with Corelation allows us to do exactly that. The continued trust of our clients, combined with real improvements in member engagement, speaks to the value we're delivering.”
Bankjoy was the first fintech certified through Corelation's vendor certification program, demonstrating its successful integration with the KeyBridge API. Today, 36 credit unions use Bankjoy with Corelation's KeyStone core. The company has also secured 13 client renewals, including longtime client Cooperative Teachers Credit Union and Coloramo Federal Credit Union, reinforcing its ability to deliver long-term value and maintain strong client relationships.
"At One Detroit Credit Union, we value partners who understand the unique needs of smaller, community focused financial institutions. Bankjoy’s personalized support, commitment to including small credit unions, and willingness to collaborate with our other vendors have been key to our continued partnership. We value Bankjoy not just as a technology provider, but as a partner invested in our growth and sustainability.”
— Portia Powell, President & CEO, One Detroit Credit Union
This momentum comes as more credit unions move to KeyStone. Corelation reported earlier this month that six credit unions with more than $5.4 billion in combined assets selected the core in the third quarter of 2026.
Bankjoy is proud to celebrate these results with credit union leaders at the Corelation 2026 Executive Forum, October 21 to 23, in Chula Vista, Calif., where it is a Platinum Sponsor. To learn more or connect with Bankjoy at the event, contact Jose Cisneros at [email protected].
